Fly Fishing Lake
The new Fly lake opened in May 09. This lake is our largest, at over 2 acres with the depth between 5½ ft and 12 ft, and two islands.
Is well stocked with the same regularity as our any method lake with a variety of trout – rainbow, brown, blues and golden, with weights going well into double figures.
Current record stands at 15lb.
You might strike lucky and hook one of the tagged fish. Pay £1 into the prize fund to enter the competition – winner takes all!
The lake has 17 pegs including a disabled fishing platform with convenient parking. New for 2010 we are adding a fishermans cabin next to the lake.

RULES
All brown and golden trout MUST be returned.
Barbless or de-barbed hooks only.
Landing nets must be used.
All juniors under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
On kill tickets first fish caught must be killed until ticket limit is reached.
Taking more fish than your ticket limit is theft. Thieves will be prosecuted.
All catches should be reported to the cabin.
Random bag checks carried out.
Sporting tickets - fish should be released in the water whenever possible.
Fishermen who purchase a ticket for the Fly Lake may fish either trout lake.
No egg flies permitted.
